Ufficio San Marco

2012, Milan

Reuse of a historian space from the late 1970s (ed. 1977-78), the “Macondo”, founded, among others, by the journalist Mauro Rostagno of Lotta Continua.

A recovery that has tried to be philological while respecting the traces of the past of the site, creating “a box in a box”.

The distribution layout of the office spaces, the creation of large glazed partitions to design, the full-height passageways and a green patio with zenithal light return and enhance the breadth and articulation of the existing spaces, respecting the large charm and the romantic inspiration of a place overlooking one of the most beautiful corners of the ex-Naviglio, Leonardo’s Locks
